  • confidence and disagreements between groups
  • can we say which is the fastest ramp?
  • what class patterns can we agree on?  what factor(s) affect a ramp's speed?

Some of you still need to submit a Book Proposal (use this online form).

Try to calculate SD for the 5 trials for your fastest ramp.

Complete all of Interlude 1, Part C, on pages 24-25.  Then, you must enter your answers and complete the survey here.  This will count as a HW assignment, and must be done before class Thursday.

National Teach-in on Global Climate Change:  we will discuss Interlude 1C and relate it to Global Climate Change?

If time:  SD calcs in groups.

Finish calculating SD for the fastest 4 ramps (bottom of P. 33 - but show your calcs on separate paper)

 What can we do with SD? 
Reconsidering the ranks of ramps;

Submit a new conclusion for your group on which ramp(s) is fastest.
